Not everything is bad news these days. On March 23, the AWS certification team announced that all AWS certifications can be taken in the proctored mode.
Yes, you read that correctly, you can now take any of the current exams from the comfort of your home or office delivered by Pearson VUE.
This modality was already available for the “Cloud Practitioner” certification but today it will apply to all available AWS exams.
Although all the exams are available in English, Japanese, Korean & Chinese, at the moment only Proctored modality will have the exam available in the English version.
For those who are not familiar with Proctored examinations: “An online proctored exam is delivered online and supervised, or proctored, by a person remotely located through the exam taker’s webcam. It’s also known as remote proctoring, remote online proctoring, or in the UK is sometimes referred to as remote invigilation”.

Espanol: Extra Extra! AWS anuncia la disponibilidad de todos sus exámenes en modalidad Supervisada
No todas son malas noticias por estos días. El pasado 23 de Marzo el equipo de certificaciones de AWS anunció que se podrán tomar todas las certificaciones de AWS en la modalidad “supervisada” (proctored).
Si, has leído bien, ahora puedes tomar cualquiera de los exámenes vigentes desde la comodidad de tu casa u oficina mediante el examinador Pearson VUE.
Esta modalidad ya estaba disponible para la certificación “Cloud Practitioner” pero hoy podrás acceder al resto de los exámenes vigentes.
Si bien todos los exámenes están disponibles en los idiomas: Inglés, Japonés, Koreano & Chino por el momento la modalidad “supervisada” solo tendrá disponible el exámen en la versión en Inglés.
